Teachers have asked the country’s Prime Minister to keep the nation’s democratic institutions open.
The nation’s teachers have responded to a Scott Morrison video pleading with them to go back to school with a less nauseating video of their own.
“As we adapt to the impact of COVID-19, the next few months will bring incredible changes for our democratic system. The already structurally unsound pillars of our so called free and fair society hang in the balance.”
The teachers blame Scott Morrison for effectively shutting down Australian democracy.
“Most of the nation’s citizens actually didn't want the main vehicle of political accountability, such as it is, to be closed. It was Scott Morrison who closed the Parliament”, they said.
“What we want is more democracy in parliaments and less activism on behalf of fossil fuel boardrooms.”
