Faced with the incredible climate leadership of 16-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg on the one hand and the complete abdication of climate leadership from our major party politicians on the other, the nation’s voters have turned to Google to see if somehow we can parachute Greta into Kirribilli no later than next Wednesday.
In recent times, millions of Australians have become increasingly impressed by Thunberg, increasingly disillusioned by the pissweak climate policies of the major parties, and increasingly freaked out by climate breakdown.
In this context, and following the exhilarating spectacle of 4 million climate strikers hitting the streets in recent days, Aussies have turned to their digital mother to frantically ask for answers as to whether Greta could become our PM.
Although there have been recorded instances of misinformation on the Internet, apparently the millions of results which say “yes, definitely” are spot on.
