New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has announced this morning that innocent Aussies fleeing a dire political situation will not be resettled in New Zealand.

Ardern, until now the darling of progressives, has been heavily criticised by human rights advocates for her uncharacteristic lack of compassion for victims of suffering.

The Australian refugees will be detained indefinitely in camps on Kapiti and Waiheke Islands, which will at least be less torturous than watching a Scott Morrison press conference.
