The NSW Premier and Australian Prime Minister have joined forces to pretend their longstanding authoritarian antipathy towards social and environmental justice protests is actually all about COVID-19.

Not since Scotty and Gladys from Marketing transformed Australia’s most famous cultural venue into “Sydney’s biggest billboard” have we seen such innovative messaging.

As such, the Australian Marketing Institute awarded the pair their top gong for 2020, beating out Alan Jones’s retirement “on health grounds”.
