He’s been spewing rubbish for decades but this is a step too far.

An incredibly authentic, credible, and fact-checked photograph of the aftermath of broadcaster Alan Jones’ birthday picnic has gone viral this weekend even though it’s the kind of unsurprising behaviour which is entirely consistent with his blatant disrespect for the public sphere.

The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC), which has more than 61,000 Facebook followers, took aim at Alan Jones by posting a photo of rubbish he left behind at a Sydney park.

Sydney City Council has released a statement saying “If Mr Jones can’t enter the public sphere without showering it in his own waste, then it’s high time we dispose of him.”
