What a terrible blunder.

Australia has rotten egg all over its face this morning as it comes to terms with a humiliating gaffe it made back in May when it elected a compulsive liar as its leader.

In fairness to the Australian public, much like there were no indications to doubt Trump’s credibility prior to the 2016 election, no one could have guessed that Morrison would turn out to be such a bald-faced liar.

Setting aside lies about the riots which killed Reza Barati, the lies about stopping the boats, the lies about Save the Children workers coaching self-harm, the lies about refugees being rapists, murderers, and paedophiles, the lies about pursuing an anti-Muslim strategy back in 2011, the lies about a $9 billion mass detention plan, the lies about African gangs, the lies about cuts to aged care, the lies about reaching emissions targets in a canter, the lies about knifing Malcolm Turnbull, and the lies about Labor’s financial services reforms, emissions deficit, and tax agenda, there was no way to predict that, if elected, he would go on to tell more lies.
