How embarrassing.
In an unfortunate misstep for the Coalition, they’ve spent the last ten years systematically sabotaging sensible climate policy.
In what can only be described as a humiliating blunder for the governing party, they seem to have been completely captured by the fossil fuel industry and sold Australia’s future out to Clive Palmer and Gina Rinehart.
This blunder has led to other more minor miscalculations. The savage campaign against the mining tax was an error, the nihilistic wipe-out of the carbon tax was a slip-up, the abolition of the climate commission was a boo-boo, the approval of Adani was a clanger, while the 168 actions they’ve taken to obliterate environmental policy in this country were a bit of an oopsie daisy.
