Scott from the UK says Gladys from Armenia gave the green light for a night out at Bondi’s Bucket List bar, while Gladys says Scott claimed the party would be “low-risk”.

Bondi backpackers have lashed out at fellow travellers for ignoring coronavirus guidelines in a clever ploy to escape any consequences for their irresponsible behaviour.

Despite the introduction of strict penalties for flouting coronavirus containment measures, two backpackers in particular have realised that if you just point the finger at someone else, you get off Scott-free.

Now both diagnosed with coronavirus, it’s pretty clear that the reckless actions of Scott and Gladys in recent weeks can be linked to at least 10% of the country’s coronavirus cases.

Despite this, the buck-passing is expected to guarantee the pair immunity from any accountability whatsoever.
