The new discussion paper came to this position after rigorously evaluating all the energy sources at the vanguard of 19th century development.

The Minerals Council of Australia and Australian Petroleum Production And Exploration Association (APPEA) have today announced the Federal Government’s long-awaited “technology investment roadmap”, setting out the energy priorities of the coal and gas sectors as they seek to bring down democracy over the next 30 years.

APPEA minion Angus Taylor said the new technology investment roadmap is about “Mum and Dad billionaires getting $29 billion in taxpayer handouts annually for wiping out the biosphere and not having taxes imposed on them”.

The new roadmap represents an acknowledgement that while solar and wind are the cleanest, cheapest, most efficient, and self-evidently best forms of energy, these facts have to be balanced with the egomaniacal whims of Clive Palmer and Gina Rinehart.
