Liberal cheerleader Bill Shorten has defended his decision to give his Opposition Leader title to Greens leader Richard Di Natale.
He said “If Richard wants to give the green light to people smugglers by actually functioning as an opposition leader, he can be my guest. I would just ask him to remember that supporting the imprisonment of babies, the sexual abuse of children, the rape of women and the murder of men is all about my deeply felt humanitarian wish to stop drownings at sea.”
He continued “If I don’t take a tough stand and support the torture of babies, who will?”
