The child welfare campaigner has heartfelt concerns both for 13-year-olds and their abusers.
Sky News commentator Andrew Bolt is renowned for his fierce advocacy for the well-being of children and is often found volunteering at his local orphanage.
Barring a few minor indiscretions (such as his recent assiduous efforts to slander a 16-year-old climate activist), Bolt’s principled stand on the rights of children is beyond question.
Take the new film The Australian Dream for example, in which he can be found describing his heartache and angst about the treatment of the 13-year-old AFL fan who racially vilified Adam Goodes in 2013.
It perhaps comes as some surprise then that the eminent jurist has repeatedly leapt to the defence of a convicted paedophile.
Still, as Plato once said, “Justice means hateful, hypocritical columnists defending paedos because what would judges know”.
