A Daggy Dad in a Captain Planet costume has had a rough night, thanks to the AFP.

Hoggish Greedly impersonator Peter Dutton has responded to the disturbing warning from Australia’s national security boss that right-wing extremism is one of this country’s greatest threats by getting the AFP to arrest a flummoxed father named Dave, dressed to impress his two little girls in a snazzy Captain Planet outfit.

Mr Dutton said “I don’t care whether they’re neo-Nazis or that famous left-wing super group ISIS, or embarassing cosplaying Dads dressed as fictional eco-heroes, they will be dealt with.”

“And if the proliferation of information into the hands of right-wing lunatics or left-wing lunatics who wear their underpants on the outside of their blue tights, then my responsibility is to make sure our agencies are dealing with him and they are.”

Dave from Accounting did wonder if his outfit was a little confronting, but was reassured by his wife Susan from Sales that it was entirely appropriate for their daughter’s eco-themed 7th birthday party: “What are they going to do, arrest you?”
