Naughty China, don’t you know you can only get away with demanding prison time for protesters if you’re white?

Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has called out the Chinese Communist Party for behaving in ways that are “inconsistent” with Australian values just days after calling for public shaming and prison time for climate protesters.

Mr Dutton said “We want university campuses to be free, although not in any sense of that word of course. We want them to be really expensive and we also want prison time for anyone who dares speak out against government policy.

“We want students to be Liberal in their thoughts.”

“In a democracy like ours, we encourage freedom of speech, freedom of expression, thought et cetera, so long as those freedoms don’t ever clash with our planet-burning, refugee-torturing, civil-liberties robbing agenda.”
