Australian democracy has just been upgraded from “narrowed” to “open” after a coup d'état by a group of 29 former emergency service bosses called Emergency Leaders for Climate Action ousted the existing authoritarian regime.

In what historians are already calling the “best coup ever”, a band of kleptocratic climate criminals calling themselves the Australian Government has been brought down by a group of people who actually care whether or not the country burns to the ground.

Former Fire and Rescue commissioner Greg Mullins has assumed the role of caretaker Prime Minister to get these fires under control and initiate an urgent decarbonisation of Australian society, with plans for fresh elections early next year.

Former Prime Minister Scott Morrison is currently on holiday in Hawaii and will be forced to live out his days in exile.
