When the life of the Government is at stake, the swiftness of their marketing makes the speed of light seem pedestrian. When it’s the lives of its citizens, not so much.

As the Morrison Government buried itself in its own incompetence during the bushfires, it took just 3 hours and 15 minutes, from the moment it decided to send in the military, to roll out a self-congratulatory ad campaign.

As the Australian public panicked in the face of the oncoming avalanche of the Coronavirus pandemic, it took 50 days since the first coronavirus case on Australian soil to release a public health campaign.

It’s not that we lack trust in our Government. It’s that we have absolute faith that they are only in it for themselves.
