“He’s a disgrace and he should step down”, Morrison said of Morrison.
Up and coming Liberal MP Scott Morrison has taken the fight up to Prime Minister Scott Morrison on his appalling response to the bushfire crisis incinerating Australia.
In response to the news that the older version of himself had gone on an overseas holiday in the middle of a national emergency, Mr Morrison said,
“He clearly made a bad judgement call. That happens to people from time to time, but this was a very serious issue. I think there are very serious concerns in the community about exercising judgement, and it’s incumbent on all of us in public life to make decisions in the best interests of those we serve.”
“You didn’t see my personal hero John Howard toffle off for a massage in the Maldives after the Port Arthur massacre. You didn’t see Kevin Rudd duck away for a facial in Fiji during the Queensland floods. Why is ok for Mr Morrison, pocketing a taxpayer salary of over half a million dollars, to fly business class to drink mojitos in Maui when our underfunded and exhausted firies are risking their lives to protect their communities?”.
When Queensland flooded, Rudd waded through knee deep water to help. When NSW burned, Abbott went to fight the fires himself. Morrison? He just ran away to Hawaii.

This is not partisan. Morrison is just a woeful leader. #AusPol #FireMorrison #WhereTheBloodyHellAreYou pic.twitter.com/hQ0ppnboxv
Mr Morrison’s comments have led to a cascade of calls from millions of voters for Mr Morrison’s resignation.
