Morrison will carve a nation in the image of his own party: a colossal black hole from which neither light nor matter can escape.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has made the much-anticipated trip to the Governor-General at Yarralumla this morning to set May 18 as the date for the federal election. He then unveiled his vision for Australia’s future which bears a striking resemblance to both the Liberal Party and the heart of the Messier 87 galaxy.
The vision shows the black hole’s accretion disc, a fuzzy doughnut-shaped ring of gas and dust that steadily “feeds” the monster within. Another name for this gaseous cloud is the Murdoch media.
The combination of the gases without and the black core of climate policy within will result in Australian temperatures of billions of degrees.
The dark shadow within also marks the edge of the event horizon, the point of no return, beyond which no light or matter can travel fast enough to escape the inexorable pull of the Liberal Party. At the heart of this Liberal black hole is a region of infinite density.
Much as black holes grow by absorbing mass from their surroundings and eventually form supermassive black holes, the Liberal Party hopes to grow their sinkhole to encompass the entire Australian continent.
