An anti-science, reality-denying, rapture-believing death cultist will keep us all safe “in a canter”.

Millions of Australians are feeling relaxed and comfortable about the looming threat of a coronavirus pandemic because a delusional, deceptive, reality-denying evangelist who has his coal black heart set on the rapture, a time when he will rise “in the clouds, to meet the lord in the air”, has promised to look after us.

There’s no doubt that Scott Morrison, who has spent a decade in politics ignoring, denying, or undermining the expert advice of the world’s scientists on the existential threat posed by the climate emergency, is best-qualified to lead the emergency response to coronavirus.

His quite literal Pentecostal belief in the imminent Second Coming of Christ and his active pursuit of a climate policy to accelerate us all towards these end times is nothing to worry about.
