23 former leaders of peak health bodies say they tried for months to warn Scott Morrison but were ignored.
There is explosive news out of Canberra this morning with revelations that health experts were locked out of Health Department planning meetings and were not allowed to mention the term “coronavirus”.
A group of former health czars called Emergency Leaders for Coronavirus Action wrote to Mr Morrison in April last year demanding an urgent meeting to help prepare for the likely outbreak of COVID-19.
Spokesperson for the group and former speedy Canberra Raiders winger, Brett Mullins, said “This Government fundamentally doesn’t like talking about coronavirus. They are failing to act because of the politics of coronavirus.”
The PM has dismissed the health experts, saying it’s not coronavirus that’s the real problem here, but the fever, sore throat, and coughing.
In response, Australia has told him to get fucked.
