The Coalition are currently riding a wave of support from sadomasochists in the last few days of Election 2016.
A big jump in the S & M vote is the only possible explanation for the Coalition lead in the latest opinion polls. Unless you enjoy inflicting pain on oppressed groups or like the humiliation of having your rights, benefits and income eroded, there’s no way you would vote for this government.
That is except if your views have been manipulated by the mainstream media. In this case not only will you dismiss The Greens, the only rational and humane choice amongst the big four parties, you will buy the great lie of stable and economically sound Coalition economic leadership.
Don’t let the change of Prime Minister, a string of Ministerial resignations and a poor economic track record get in the way of a good story.
In the event of a Turnbull victory, at least the sadomasochist community will have a bumper three years.
