It doesn’t take the 40th straight Coalition Newpoll loss to show Australians think the stench of this rotten government is impossible to bear and growing by the day.

This biohazard of a ruling party has poisoned Australia’s soul from day one, but now the toxicity is so obvious even the independents are starting to think they should wear a hazmat suit to Question Time.

From the earliest days of the Abbott government, which took away pay rises for childcare and aged care workers, abolished ministerial positions on climate change and science and scrapped the climate commission and social inclusion board, to the dying days of the unmitigated farce that is the Morrison government, this last 5 years has felt like it has set Australia back 50 years, except John Gorton was a communist compared to this mob.

By September 2015 it was already called “the worst government ever, proven by science”. Now its so bad even scientists are saying “yeah I dunno how to measure that mate”.

With any luck Australia will buy some less rotten potatoes in May next year and grassroots political action will help them be cooked up into something at least edible, if not absolutely scrumptious.
