Australians starting to wonder whether a government which also spends $185 million on a press conference really is so awesome at economic management after all.

The Federal Government, which apparently takes itself seriously, has postponed calling the election so it can spend over half a million dollars of taxpayer money per day convincing voters that taxes are terrible and that they are the party of fiscal responsibility.

What has voters more worried than the fictional surplus, the plagiarised marketing campaign, and the quality of Prime Minister Momo’s Borat impression, is the prospect of several more of Scott Morrison’s press conferences this week.

If the going rate is $185 million, the country will be bankrupt before the week is out.
