For the first time in history, finance capital bends the arc of the moral universe towards oblivion.
With the struggle for economic, social, racial, economic, and environmental justice now off the ballot in the US Presidential election, it comes as some relief that at last Wall St might get some influence over the world’s most powerful government.
While for a brief moment earlier this year it did look like Wall St might yet again be thwarted in their ongoing struggle for total economic, cultural, and political domination, the exit of Bernie Sanders from the race for President now makes the establishment’s insurgent campaign appear triumphant.
Whether Wall St elects their favourite senile septuagenarian facing sexual assault allegations or their other favourite senile septuagenarian facing sexual assault allegations, at least the underrepresented finance sector will now have some say in which of their puppets will continue to drive our civilisational road trip towards the precipice.
