It’s almost as if daily attacks on the characters of decent men and the glorification of pathological liars in every major information source has some kind of impact on how the public views their political leaders.

Conservative and centrist commentators (collectively known as “the media”) have dismissed the claimed link between relentless anti-Shorten, anti-Corbyn Murdoch propaganda and the unpopularity of these men as the result of a Chinese and/or Russian disinformation campaign.

That the Russians and Chinese are to blame for what’s going on here is much more convincing than the alternative crackpot conspiracy theory of those who prefer evidence.

These tin-foil hat social scientists make the wacky case that the billionaire owners of our political system will take down anyone who poses a threat to their material interests.

Bloody Russians/Chinese.
